Established over twenty years ago, our client have become a successful family friendly Building maintenance company who provide property maintenance / repairs and capital upgrades to clients such as Defence Housing, Land and Housing Contracts ( LAHC) ,Schools, Hospitals,etc.

They now employ over twenty people, most of who have been with them for a very long time, and had have just moved into a brand new owner occupied office /Industrial Warehouse with a fully operational Kitchen / Joinery /Window Manufacturing Facility.

Due to sustained growth they are now ready to recruit a full time Minor Works Manager / Operations Manager / Facilities Maintenance Manager.

Reporting directly to the Business Owner, the person we are looking for will have:

1. A proven track record in the day to day management of a few mobile crews – in the above client base, ensuring that programmed work is carried out within time, cost and quality.
2. Working knowledge and experience with LAHC Contracts / Housing NSW Maintenance contracts / Defence Housing Contracts etc.
3. Experience in dealing with large Facility Management Companies such as Spotless / Ventia / Broadspectrum / Lake Maintenance / Transfield etc.
4. Outstanding Oral and written communication skills as you will be dealing with people at all levels – EG Clients/ Tenants /direct employees/ suppliers etc.
5. Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
6. Current Drivers Licence – as you will be required to go to site, using company vehicle, as and when required.
7. Checkable references.
8. An outstanding safety record.
9. An accommodating persona as you will be managing work in mostly live /sensitive environment.

Remuneration will be negotiated with successful applicant but is expected to be circa $90K + Super + Car.
